The Creature from the Black Nebula

A perfect plan gone awry. As a result, a dying man finds himself laying on an alien shore. Darwin Bloom realizes his folly a little too late. A black spirit speaks with him during his final moments. The specter asks him one question, to which Dr. Bloom whispers back, “Revenge.” A decade later, Darwin Bloom is reborn. The occasion is marked with the destruction of Las Vegas. Upon his reemergence, Darwin’s humanity has been completely eradicated. He has been changed into a Darkling harbinger. From that day forward, he is simply known as Kill Switch.

Rebekah Winters is one of the poor souls affected by the attack on Sin City. Seeking retribution, Rebekah takes a position at an experimental laboratory. She is tasked with leading a squadron of humanoid super soldiers, called Chimeron.

As they prepare for Armageddon, the Chimeron have their own struggles. The relative newborns are forced to fight a demented creature, whose evil is beyond their own reckoning.

Furthermore, Rebekah finds herself at constant odds with her employer. Their only concern is turning her young wards into vicious animals. With proper guidance, Rebekah hopes that she can help the Chimeron build their characters properly. Her greatest fear is that they might become just as malicious as their nemesis.

However, a few questions remain.

Will the Chimeron become the warriors that Earth desperately needs?

Or will they lose their soul in the process?
